Victory is inEvitable (vie)
Victory Is inEvitable is a Kingdom agency destined to initiate salvation and nurture spiritual development thereby equipping generations for ministry...Now!!
The acronym VIE is taken from the first letter of the words Victory, Is, and the third letter of the word inEvitable.
Some twenty years ago, I began using this phrase which loosely translates: triumph or conquest is expected. This phrase grows out of a belief that God reigns and the victory over every single situation is assured. Victories do not manifest because of human efforts, even though they are an outward sign of a personal relationship with God rather, victory is ultimately tied to the supreme sacrificial act of Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world so, the ultimate victory which is promised to all believers always shows up triumphant. In the 2nd Epistle of Peter, we find that "Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you - your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust" (2nd Peter 1:3-4 The Message).
With such life-changing promises from our God, life is victorious everyday even when the living is not so easy.
VIE promotes:
* The earthly community' s need for love and shaping through principles, ethics, moral values, and social graces.
* The love of God through structure, order, and accountability.
* Knowledge-based education, critical thinking skills, and global resources provided through venues that teach "how to" undergirded by Kingdom gifts which are bed rocked in the five-fold ministry of Ephesians.
* Models, mentors, and vignettes of successful and resourceful citizens.
* Social interaction overseen by caring and productive agencies that foster holistic living.
* Global transformation among various cultures.
* Interfacing with ecumenical circles.
